Journey Into The Chakras
You will learn the names, locations, and basic attributes of each chakra and do a personal assessment using different hands-on methods that can help create balance and healing.
You will also explore different methods of balancing your chakras through yoga postures, sound, meditation, journaling, crystals, energy practices, bio-energetics and creative arts.

Rope Wall (Karunta) Yoga
Karunta or Rope Yoga is being presented to teach you how to safely and effectively use the rope wall at Rising Sun Yoga. We will do 15 - 20 poses with the ropes while standing, bending forward, bending backwards, and hanging upside down.
You will learn safe and effective means to enter and exit the ropes so that you feel comfortable enough to use the ropes prior to your normally scheduled class.
Karunta Yoga is very effective in working with problem backs/spines.

Wild Woman Drum Circle
Drum Circles are an opportunity to experience the language of the drum.
It is easy to begin to learn simple rhythms and join in the rhythm conversation that raises vibrational energy in a powerful way. Come and experience the hypnotic rhythms as healing, prayerful and fun. Indigenous peoples used rhythms to celebrate their intimate connection with universal energy life force and to connect with the sacred.
This is a powerful community and personal experience! Come and play the drums in a circle of friends. Beginners and master drummers are all welcome. Bring any kind of hand drum, African or Indian drum.There are always a few extra drums available or bring anything creative that will make a beat!

Yoga Teachers' Yoga Practice
This is a gathering of yoga teachers who wish to participate in a yoga class where we share ideas, voice thoughts, and sometimes remain silent. This is an open series of classes with no set agenda. We will have teachers leading teachers with one or a few teachers leading in any one class.
There is no charge for this class. Class will normally be 90 minutes except for the first one which is 60.
